Festival Workshop
What is the Day of the Dead?
The Day of the Dead is a big holiday of colour. It is not a sad holiday, the total opposite! We remember and celebrate the lives of those who have passed to the afterlife while spending time with people we cherish.
Join a lovely afternoon, where you’ll immerse yourself in the celebration by
- getting hands on with craft making for altar decoration
- learning how to write funny festive poetry
- dancing traditional and party tunes, just as we do in Mexican festivities
- learning about the story and the culture
- and more activities Festival style.
Dress up in Day of the Dead attire and or mak- up is encouraged.

Semi-Classical
Drawing from over 15 years of training in Bharatanatyam, Debanjana Chakraborty brings to you a graceful semiclassical pop up class to the beautiful song “Pardesiyan”.
The class blends the elegance and precision of classical Bharatanatyam and Western lyrical style with expressive mudras, strong classical posture and graceful lyrical movement influenced by Western and Bollywood dance.
The result is a beautiful fusion that celebrates tradition while adding a contemporary, cinematic flavour.

Bachata for ladies
Because you asked. This Summer we will be running one more BACHATA FOR LADIES WORKSHOP.

We will record a group video to tag Shakira and take part in the challenge.
